What It Costs

​According to the ProCopywriters survey of 2024 the average day rate for a copywriter is £440​

Businesses (small and large) hire copywriters to find the right words.

 

The parameters for finding those words include (but not limited to):

The type of copywriting required (website, brochures, naming, TOV)

The nature of the copywriting required (technical, specialist, funny)

The time needed for research and discovery.​​​​

The time taken for client feedback.

Revisions required (revision does not mean rewrite).​​

We all have bills to pay. With that in mind my payment terms are 50% of the fee upfront, 25% on delivery of the first draft and the remaining 25% on signoff. That way I get to retire while I am still young enough to enjoy it.​​
